Dude, first things first....please shorted up or compress your sig, it's really long and combersum, gives me a headache when I scroll past it!
Answers you're looking for:
1)~220hp 50 more than the Lo3, that is if you've got stock Lo5 heads etc.
2)Nothing, NADDA, zip, plug & play but I recommend you get a new knock sensor, it needs to be for a 350, that simple
3)They're the same head bolt pattern (angled middle bolts) and they're the same manifold so it doesn't matter which one you use, I wouldn't use either
4)Yes, they're the same piece, the 350 has larger injectors and even those interchange
5)Yes, you probably have the 7747. What truck is this coming from? You might want to try both ecms, from what I've gathered you can just plug the other ecm in place of the other. You can NOT swap eproms however! The 8746 ecm (camaro) has a few extra goodies that the 7747 doesn't, like vacuum canister controls and more importantly the intake air temp. Try both, the only problem with the 7747 is that it was designed for a heavier vehicle, this might make things a little rich but nothing too serious. If you want to run the Lo5 in the 8746 I can mail you a cop car (ANLU) eprom. It uses the 8746 ecm with an Lo5 engine. E-mail me if you're interested.
6)No, you need the larger injectors or crank the fuel pressure up with the 305 injectors. Always tune with fuel pressure! You don't want to run lean up top.
7)Hot cam, performer RPM intake, vortec heads with $100 machine work done to them for larger cam lifts. That'll give you 410hp, you could go with a more mild Lt4 cam and still make major hp. Yes you would be better off with a 2" TB unit like a holley. I would recommend swapping off the holley injectors and going with GM injectors (the pods swap real easy) and ADJUST FUEL PRESSURE! You will NEED a custom eprom if you go with the higher hp combo! You can't just tune it all with fuel pressure. You can to an extent but then after about +40hp you'll either have a rich idle (open loop) and desent WOT or you'll have a nice idle and run lean at WOT.
8)Of course it'll bolt up, what do you think this is, an import! It's a small block chevy, they have the same bolt patterns for the tranny, all same external demensions from the 283 to the 427ci engines!

I'll answer what I can:
1)I don't know, but the 305 TBI in the Camaro now has a whopping 170 HP.
2)Minimun is:Injectors, knock sensor and knock module. Some say they've done it w/o bigger injectors, maybe with adjustable fuel pressure regulator.Injectors for 350 TBI Truck are part #17112493,Knock sensor is Part #10456288 and module is Part #16128261.
3)intake (center two bolts)changed in 87,so yours should fit fine.
4)305 & 350 Throttle Body is the same, only the injectors are different.454 TB has bigger bores.
5)Yes, but you'll probably need a chip.Mines a custom from Fastchip.com,$350.
6)Yes, like I said, throttle bodies are the same, but you'll need the bigger injectors.
7)Most will tell you that 300 HP is about the most a stock TBI setup will support.Of course if you have enough money to spend it's certainly possible to get more.I'm running a 300HP crate motor based on a TPI motor with a Crane Compucam,Edelbrock intake,Ported throttle body,headers,3"cat,adjustable fuel pressure regulator and a custom chip.Short block is basic 9.2 to 1 CR,PM rods, hydraulic roller.Toughest thing for computer to deal with would be big duration cam.As long as the duration is reasonable (mine's 224/232 at .050")and lobe centers are 114-116, lift can be pretty big.Use a profile recommended for use with computer and you'll be fine, but bigger TPI profiles will probably be difficult to feed.Adjustable pressure regulator gives you some extra tuning ability.I stuck with a ported version of the GM throttle body, mainly because I've heard some say that the Holley injectors are not as reliable as GM's are, but I don't know firsthand.
8)I believe it will bolt right up.
Hope this Helps-

Thanks from me to Jon. I am basically doing the exact same swap, but with ~320-330HP and ~385-395 lb.ft. of torque.

Did you ever get that 3-4 pin connector for your Holley? I remember you searching for weeks, asking around, etc.

I am interested in going with either that Holley unit, or a modified one from TurboCity. They claim 585 CFM. I think that'll be enough to support the eingine I'm building. Don't you?

Yeah I got the pin, snuf sent it to me, I owe him big time.
I think the stock TB unit worked over can be made to flow plenty for a 350hp engine. My friend is running a 600cfm carb on a 327 making 370hp. The car was faster with a 750 but he lost a lot of the street manners like a nasty hesitation. With TBI you don't have that so you can basically run a big a unit as you want within reason. Don't want too big but a 2" unit can work with a built 305. I recommend a 2" TBunit for anything making over 300hp. Even cars making 260-280hp can probably be made faster with a larger TB unit. It all depends on the application, street machine, drag queen, imbetween?!
I'm happy with the 2" unit but I wish I had better injectors, these holley injectors are crap. I might end up cranking up the fuel pressure and just run some crossfire injectors (they're 67#).
Remember, nothing with a car is just plug and play, you need to tune everything. Especially a huge hp increase. Look at me, 200% more hp than stock means if I tune the idle to be 14:7....my WOT would be super lean.
If you can't tune eproms like me, make youre fuel pressure regulator and ADJUST!!!
