Car runs awesome when it is Hot. However, when it is cold, it pulls away ok, stop at the first stop sign I come to and the tach drops to about 300 car shakes a little, and hen corrects and jumps to around 900 and also hesitates when giving the gas it sputters unless i give it more gas, does this for about 10mintues, then when its warm, all is great,r uns flawless! Any sensor that controls cold operation?

Chanegd MAT sensor and Fuel Filter... I am getting code 32 (egr) but wouldnt that effect it when its hot? I do feel light surging on hwy, which is egr, and I know that, but whats causing my cold weather operation?

Any ideas?

ya you wold think it would give a code..usually when they are bad the car runs rough when cold and heistates and doesnt wanna move. it's located on the intake by the thermostat.

 

Still does it... Only when its cold, it will almost stall at a light (never DOES stall, but stumbles then catches itself) and if u give it gas it sputters.. untill its warm? Any ideaS?

 

u said still does it...does that mean you replaced the coolant temp sensor? sometimes the conector is bad too..you might have to have a shop look at it

Set it to 4.5 * advance... went to a big parking lot to.. see how it ran
