Factory LO3 Plug Gaps, and Recomendations

What is the factory specs for spark plug gap for our TBI cars? Also, having that as a baseline, does anyone prefer to gap it closer or wider? I'm using fine wire platnums. I basically just have a JET chip, intake, headers, 1.6 roller rockers, and 350 injectors. I like my timing at +4*. Thanks alot, I'm sure I could just call GM for this answer, but I figured someone here has the book in front of them. - Randy

ok, I forgot to mention I will be putting on a MSD Blaster coil and 8mm wires when I do the plugs. I also found out that the FACTORY gap is .035. I know that it has been said that it is better to run a bigger gap with the stronger coil, but what is too much for a daily driver that see's highway miles as well as waiting in lines at the track? .045 sounds safe to me, I don't think I will have any weak spots on the powerband with that, but what would you guys say about a little more? Thanks- Randy

92RS, I like how you put all the decals under the hood on the front, I was wondering what I should do with mine, I like to keep my body clean looking

Yeah, the last thing I wanted to do was to advertise those company's names like all the honda's do, but I thought they would brighten up the engine bay a little without being obnoxious. And unlike those ricers, we get our stickers when we purchase something!

Amen 92RS. I actually just came from a 2000 Dodge Neon (which I'm pretty sure you can fit a small ci v6 into), and was going to soup it up (don't confuse that with rice it up), and even then I couldn't stand stickers on my car. Until I drive a Nascar stock car I'm not gonna do that.

To keep this tech I'm going to be gapping my new plugs when I get around to doing a tuneup. hehe
