Re: nothing too crazy

ur dual snorkel and having a cowl is a contradiction.
u need an open air element to get the full effect of a cowl.
change the rear end on that thing.
best advice i can give you is too do your re search and go through the stickies on top .

use this site to an advantage like i did youll learn alot

easiest/cheapest way to hit 14s would be a shot of nitrous. power would be there when you need it and gas mileage would remain the same. no need to tear the motor apart or anything. for your goal of 14s i think either a 75 or a 100 shot would do you good and the motor will survive forever on those shots.

yeah nitrous was deff one of the things i was thinking about, so really all i have to do is buy the kit and install it? i always thought u had to replace some stuff just to make sure your engine can handle it

basically get spark plugs that are 1 step colder i prefer either ngk's or autolite's. other than that just put it in run highest octane they run around there 93 or 91 and youll be fine. just jet it nicely so its not lean and have fun. i actually hit 13s last time at the track with a 125 shot and other mods hoping to go back bigger for 12s in september. nitrous will help you a lot.

o and about timing ive learned you can get away with stock timing of 0 degrees on the distributor.
