I would guess that you are not able to tune your EFI ride's that's why you have to take out the computer??? Im all for carbs simplicity but why not use the efi??? Even with TBI 400hp is doable and youll get better fuel economy and cold starts. Plus if the Gov ever gets smart and cracks down on emissions you wont have to convert back. If you dont want the ecm just send it to me and I will take it of you hands for another project!! LOL Let me know if you want my address LOL

im all for fuel injection. as in. 1 (sometimes 2) injector(s) per cylinder. and none of this toilet bowl injection crap.

To the original poster, you can get 30$ to 50$ out of the ecm. If you didn't hack up the original wiring harness you can probably get 150$ to 200$ out of the complete TBI setup with dissy, TB and everything.
