TBI Injectors - Loud
Firstly, thanks everyone for the wealth of resources here and willingness to help.
So here's where I'm at.....
I bought a car that was a 350 conversion, but the previous owner (Who is a mechanic) only changed the motor and nothing else.
When I got it, it ran horribly, extremely rich and it wouldn't idle at all when it was cold, and when it warmed up, it would surge at idle.
I found someone on eBay that is/was selling TBI parts, so I contacted them, and for $125 shipped, I got a Police ECM for a TBI 350, Hi Flow matching injectors and all the TBI sensors.
First I put in the ECM and MAP and there was a HUGE improvement, but true to everyone's posts; it ran lean.
I put in the Injectors and I was blown away!!!!!
I drove it down the road and got on it a bit, but it backfired something fierce.
I assumed it was the ESC Module, so I swapped that out along with the IAC; which seemed to fix that (Unless it was my imagination).
So now I have like three other parts to put on, but I can't seem to identify them or where they go. Not sure if one of them is a knock sensor or where that would even be.
One part is on the driver's side firewall buried under another module. It is rectangular and flat with around 5 or 6 flat metal contacts.
Another part has three or four vacuum line connections on it and the last piece is a flat half circle with a smaller 4-connection port.
Any ideas and/or locations/pics of where they all go would be greatly appreciated!!!!
Lastly, the injectors I got seem a little loud; sounding like small arcs of electricity or slight ticking. Is this just inherent to the larger injectors?
Thanks again everyone!!!

The knock sensors would be mounte in the block left anf right side. They using single wire connectors similar to the CTS sensor.
The sensor on the firewall with the vacuum lines maybe your MAP sensor.
On TBI the injectors do have a produced tick. The ones on my '83 CFI do the same thing at idle.

Here are the last three (3) parts.
Can anyone help me identify them and where they might be located?
Thanks,

The one pictured on top thats like a quarter circle with the 2 bolt holes in it is the TPS that should go on the passenger side of the throttle body in front the your IAC if im not mistaken.
The part on the bottom right that has one vaccuum connection on top and two on the bottom and a electrical connection port is for the EGR. the egr is not supposed to be hooked directly up to a vaccuum line.
