Re: Cold air intake

I built this with junkyard parts out of an 89 IROC (upper filter housing), 91 Z28 (lower filter housing), an 89 Buick (Airlid?) a V6 Firebird elbow, some 8" Air Conditioner ducts (mount behind grill) and some rubber plumbing tube. Total cost $30ish. You can definetly feel the power and hear a cool whine at high RPMs.

Re: Cold air intake

It's been covered a cajilion times......no really a cajilion

You need to jump up to the stickies throw in some popcorn and start reading. All of the questions you have been asking are answered up there. It just takes some effort on your part to read through all of them and take notes. All that stuff about note taking they tought you in school really does apply to the real world.

Re: Cold air intake

Youre welcome goalieforlife. I just found some pictures on google, printed them out, traced and cut them as stencils. Looked good to me glad you liked it.

Now Ive just got to adapt it to fit this... Should be easy since the BBK Throttle body is for a TPI/LT1.
