Hmm problems.

When i first had gotten my car it had a slight hesitation nothing big though. Could still spin the tires like nothing still had acceleration. It was fine. Well lately I've been running into a lot of problems and everything went wrong a once. Now the hesitation is very bad. but cap, rotor, distributor, plugs, wires, TPS, and finally air filter. The coil was tested and was in perfect running order. But now there is still a major major hesitation. Like ill be pulling out of a parking lot and a truck or something is coming... So ill sort of press it not to the floor but pressing it more then i would coming out of a church parking lot. And it will seem to die pretty much. it will eventually pick up and go but it takes quite a long time for it to get up and go. Any ideas on my problem? Is it computer related Throttle body related?. Any help is greatly appreciated. Its on an 89 TBI 305.

Re: Hmm problems.

Check your fuel pressure right at the throttle body, it sounds like you could have a clogged fuel filter or a fuel pump on the way out. The fuel pump wiring can also get funky on these cars, causing the output to fall off.
