Hey guys a buddy of mine has a limited slip posi rear end that was set up for disc brakes. He is givin it to me to put in my 89 camaro rs tbi. What do i need to do to put this in my rear which has drum brakes? I wanna keep the drums, just want to know if there is any way i can put this one in cheap?

 

An 89 RS with TBI should have a 10 bolt rear. What car is the rear out of? Do you know if it's a 9 bolt, a 10 bolt??? And if you want to keep the drums I don't think you can put drum brakes on a disc brake rear. If you want to keep the drums you can just buy a limited slip carrier for your 10 bolt without having to swap the whole rear. I swapped rears on my 88 Camaro only because I wanted rear discs as well as the limited slip posi.
