MSD PARTS WILL THEY WORK?

MSD PARTS WILL THEY WORK?

hey guys i got the MSD 6a box, and the MSD p/n 8360 distributor and blaster coil. can i replace my stock ignition with this? and also will it give me a better timing and spark?

MSD 8360 will not work with your ECM. If you install it ECM will never fire injectors! Depending on your current dizzy type - small hat, external coil HEI with EST: MSD 8366 or Accel 60109 can be used. If you have a full size HEI then Accel 59109 will work (HEI w/o vacuum advance, 7-pin module). MSD 6A box should work with stock dizzy. For what it's worth you current ignition is more than adequate. Just replace tired rotor/cap and wires. A better coil and EST module can be added later.
