Re: Turbo
Your gonna get alot off "It's not worth it to turbo TBI" Asking that question. But it can, and has been done. There is a guy over at the fullsize chevy truck forums who just accomplished his turbo TBI. There are various ss454 truck owners with blow-thru superchargers, and a turbo or 2, doing just fine. The biggest issue is fueling. I have started gathering parts for my own TT TBI project. I would get the EBL from www.dynamicefi.com. This allows you to use a 1 bar map, for 15 psi boost. I has table to increase injector PW and retard spark. Get a BBC TB with the biggest injectors, 90 pphs, and get a boost referenced regulator. You can control the BPC in the ebl. Depending on power level, you will still need more injector, so you would have to either get a 4bbl tbi unit from holley, or get an aux injector controlled and add 2 injectors in a spacerplate. Then like has been said, you REALLY need to tune it.
