i have 2 problems on my hands

Well guys i came across a few problems with the camaro, first off it seems i have oil on the intake manifold? not sure what it is, mabbe a loose gasket? the other thing isnt as important but i just installed my open element and followed all the directions, seems as tho i hear a hissing noise whenever i rev it or while im driving, any ideas would be alot of help

oil on the manifold could be valve cover and or intake manifold gasket. Clean it up real well, then run it and it will give you a idea on where the leaks origin is.

As for the open element. The stock assembly quiets the sound of the throttle body ALOT. As long as you capped off the vac line for the heat stove, plugged in the IAT, made sure its sitting flush and not sitting on the coil wire ..... your ok.

yeah i figured it was just a gasket, as for the open element, somedays it feels like my car is pulling like a horse, honestly it feels like a different car, then days like today i give it gas and it feels slower then wen i had the stock air cleaner on, ne ideas?
