Differences between Cal EGR systems
Differences between Cal EGR systems
I've got a '91 L03/305 that I've pumped up a little with better air intake and free flowing exhaust, and I'm about to starting tuning on it with an EBL system.
Its a California smog car, and looking at parts listings I realized that they put a different EGR valve on the California 305's (and apparently just the 305's, not the 350's).
Does anybody know what the difference is on this California EGR valve and system?
Before I realized there was a difference I bought a non-Cal EGR valve to replace old one, I'll pop off the old one and report back here if I can tell any difference by comparing them.
The non-California new one appears to be a pretty standard appearing negative pressure type.
Thanks-
Paul T.
