Re: L03 forged internals
If ur gonna spend all the tons of hours and money to re-build a motor, you might as well get a 350 roller, and drop your TBI on it.
I have never built a motor before, but I still have a pretty good idea of what kind of time, effort, money, and machine work goes into them. You would need to get an oversize kit, have the motor bored and honed, all kinds of stuff. Then if you want blueprint and balance, that is a huge cost addition, too!
Maybe you can understand why a 350 would be beneficial? Becuase you can get a decent block to start with for $50-100, and it would be better to fresh that up, than to fresh your 305.
Actually, if I was gonna do all that work, I would probably drop the little extra coin, for a 383 rotating kit. There is your "forged internals" along with 33 extra cubes, and alot of torque!

Re: L03 forged internals
not to be a **** but do you really need forged internals, also i looked at your mod list and saw lt4 hot cam and did not see anything about chip tuning if i were you i would forget forged internals and learn to burn chips imo also you'll need heads to go with that cam.

Also for the computer tuning I got EBL Flash, no need to burn chips
One other kinda off topic question, is this the proper Throttle Body for these engines?

Re: L03 forged internals
does he really need a 454 TBI for a 305? why not just add 61# 350 injectors, like i did so you can turn more than 4000rpm without the injectors going static.
