Oil Pressure
I just got my camaro out of storage today and when i was driving it home i noticed the oil pressure was going up and down, when i accelerated the pressure would go up and when i was idleing the pressure would go down to about 15. What would make this happen, and is it a big problem?

Re: Oil Pressure
how long in storage ? just through the winter ? if so , time for an oil change/flush . do a change/flush and should better . if not , r/r oil press. sensor . oil press. sensors are a common problem . good luck .

Re: Oil Pressure
It has been in storage since the end of october, so about 6 months. It is due for and oil change. How big of a problem will it been if it does it after the oil change?

Re: Oil Pressure
Your oil pressure is tied directly to engine speed. The oil pump is turned mechanically by the engine so pressure will go up with engine speed, but change the oil after storage.
