TBI code 23 ??
I have seen in print several places that CODE 23 does not pertain to TBi cars. My '89 has throw that code 3 times now , and I dont know what it means ? Really in a bind here as I am trying to make a road trip before I leave the country for a time, I need to get this fixed this week.

Re: TBI code 23 ??
Code 23 on your '89 RS is the IAT sensor low malfunction. The intake air temperature (IAT) sensor is in the air cleaner. A low error can be caused by the IAT sensor going bad, the wiring going bad, or the connector going bad.
Basically, if you unplug the sensor then code 23 is caused. There is an open in the circuit/sensor.
