Too much head?
Too much head?
Found these on a 4x4 site... they are Dart-pro1 sbc aluminium heads. Specs:
".208 intake, .165 exhaust, 215cc intake, 72cc chambers, 5/8 studs, angled plugs.
Brand new in boxes
$1100
I'll throw in a set of aluminum roller rockers."
Pics:

These would go on top of my 1995 truck Lo5 block being tuned with a EBL (motor will be used in a old waggy 4x4 Landcruiser). Am I going to run into problems? Am I going to run into problems? I"m worried about the intake runners being too big and lack of compression?

Re: Too much head?
I'd like to use it with a cam similar to this:

Yes, I would say those are made for 383 cubic inch or larger engines, for racing only. They'll run like dog crap on a TBI engine.

Re: Too much head?
No, just the engine and cam are too small. ;-)
Joking aside, I think that for a truck, those aren't going to be what you want. I assume in an old l-cruiser, you ware going to want some low-end grunt. I would look for a good 180cc head, with 64cc chambers to run with that cam you picked. That should be a nice smooth engine, that will deliver power down low where you need it for the truck.
