iac keeps reset itself
i keep set it to 1 1/8. runs fine for 2-3 mins starts popping out exhaust ,take out iac and its 1/2 inch shy of 1 1/8! why does it keep doing it?

the IAC, or Idle Air Control is what the ECM uses to control idle speed. it does that by either extending or retracting the plunger.

if its still screwy, i say your iac is getting stuck on the return side. possibly bad internal connection.
