You might be able to reuse the the LO3's TBI, but my guess would be that its smaller than the LO5 TBI. As far as internals are concerned, you might be able to reuse the LO3 connecting rods if they are the same length, but you cant reuse the LO3 crankshaft, camshaft (unless you put in a 350 cam), pistons, for sure. Very nearly everything else on the LO3 won't fit the LO5 as far as I can tell, but I'll deffer to the more experienced opinion. The LO5 is like any other 350 out there except that it uses TBI. Believe me, its far cheaper to get stuff for your 350 LO5 than it is for my 305 LO3.

My LO3 is 20 years old with 183k miles on it and it has cast iron internals. Not a single problem with the engine in its lifespan. So I'd have to say reliability ain't an issue.
However, if the LO5 is going to be used for something more than a stock DD car, I'd look at getting all new internals. Not that the stock internals suck, rather all new forged or cast parts would really help ensure future upgradability. Also, you don't have to worry about that 20 year old 20k mile part crapping out on you when you least expect it. Sure, cast iron will last to the end of time, but will it hold up to what you want to do to it?

You can reuse the stock 305TB its the same size as the 350, just the injectors are different, so either get 350 injectors or an adjustable regulator to boost the fuel pressure.
You can buy a full L05 for like 500$ in good condition, so no real point in bothering to try to reuse stuff.
