As a direct bolt on No LT1 heads are reverse flow. With enuff money they will but not worth it.

Re: lt1 heads on 305?

they WILL bolt right on but will not work....the water passages are not compatable and who ever says they are both small block chevys is an idiot so dont listen to them they are very similar and a few things can be swaped between the two (heads are not one such item) but there is a reason traditional small block chevys are called gen 1 motors and lt1s are gen 2 motors....they are not the same. dont waste ure time to get them to work requires alot of welding and machinework...youll spend about as much as u would on good aftermarket heads withought the performance.....

Re: lt1 heads on 305?

World products makes a set of aftermarket 305 heads, but they arent that great from what ive read. 113 aluminum corvette heads arent exactly aftermarket but they are a good upgrade, 58cc chambers to boot which will not make you lose compression either

Re: lt1 heads on 305?

Unless you put a little bigger cam in there I don't think you'll really gain much of anything. If you were doing a cam swap and putting in an LT1 cam ( I assume they work well with L03's) then I would recommend the 083 heads.

I am in the process of doing that very thing, but in my 350 TBI. NEW RHS heads (083/217 style) 2.02 intake with 1.60 exhaust, 76cc chambers and roller rockers along with a Comp Cams 8-304-8 cam. Now we are talking more power and more fun, lol. These heads on your L03 (305) are too much so you need to ask...

The heads I got off eBay from J&C Enterprises for $499. They are NEW. 1-800-266-5599. You may want to give him a call and ask if he has similar heads for an L03.

Here's the description of the heads.

76 CC Combustion chamber 083 / 217 casting style high flow design

Heads are assembled with new 2.02 One piece stainless steel intake valves

Heads are assembled with new 1.60 One piece stainless steel exhaust valves

Heads are assembled with new 3/8 screw-in-studs and guide plates

Heads are assembled with new stamp steel valve spring retainers

Heads are assembled with hardened valve keepers

Heads are assembled with new. 550 lift springs

Heads are assembled with new valve seals

Heads are complete and ready to install

Again, I don't know much about the L03/305 other than how to take one out and replace it with a 350, LMAO!!! Also, you can contact Brian Harris at tbichips.com or tpichips.com. This man is honest, friendly and a wealth of knowledge.

Re: lt1 heads on 305?

Check out these heads on eBay. Not sure if they are the best for your setup, but it's something to look into.
