tbi not firing
so yesterday i was driving home and the car just died, couldn't get it started again, ended up towing it home, my question is if the fuel pump cycles does that mean its not bad? ive had some intermittend issues with the car lately i.e. dying when its cold, and sometimes i can hear the fuel pump groan when it cycles any ideas?

Re: tbi not firing
dude get the fuel pressure checked save yourself some grief. It will tell you right away about fuel pump fuel regulator and fuel filter.
problably the pump is dying bujt check the fuel pressure first and trust me you dont want to pull a fuel pump on these cars for nothing

Re: tbi not firing
do the injectors spray?? if so how good is the spray
check in INJ 1 and INJ 2 fuse in the fuse block
if your getting the fuel see if your getting a spark
if no spark then it could be the coil, module, or something worng with the pick up on the shaft
