"Crossfire" Kickin my butt!
Hopefully somebody out there is a "Crossfire Wizard" cause I sure can't seem to find one locally in Denver!
Mine waz runnin GREAT for years and the past 6 months its been "spittin" back thru the throttle bodies and blowin the vacuum lines off the back of the backside of the throttle bodies. Its runnin like CRAP and buildin up BLACK carbon inside the bowls !! Any ideas
Sure gonna be embarrassed if its only a bad PCV valve or I was thinkin a couple of "flat " cam lobes ???? Any other ideas??
I wanna keep the "Crossfire" set up as I have the functional "opening" hood. HALP!!!!

First thing to do on a fuel injected car is check the fuel pressure
Without any info I can tell you the first thing I would check besides fuel pressure is the CTS in the intake manifold, if it's the old mushroom type, toss it and replace it with a weatherpack type

Maybe the throttle bodies need to be rebuilt? How many miles are on the motor? Could be injectors maybe or fuel pump, or fuel pressure regulator. Could be something like TPS or IAC if they have those things on the crossfire cars [im speaking coming from the TBI world]
Theres just a heck of a lot of things it could be.

Like everyone has said, it could be a number of things. Check fuel pressure, injector spray pattern, regulators.....
They are known for leaky throttle shafts as well.
If you need overhaul gasket/o-ring kits, IAC Valves, etc let me know.
