I bought a 92 camaro rs tbi car with no motor or trans.I pulled the 350 ans 700r4 trans out of my 87 camaro.It has a speedo cable set up but the car is set-up for electic speedo.I'm goin to use the tbi that came with the car is there a converter kit that will send signal for ecm and speedo?Or is it just better to find a newer trans?Thanks for any help you can give

 

You should be able to get a VSS for a '90 to '92 Camaro or Firebird and install it into the transmission. Both the cable and electronic speedo setups use the gears (driven and drive) within the trans. Just be sure to get one for the 700R4, not the T5. And the correct gears for the rear ratio.

Check over on the transmission board. IIRC the sticky's up top have additional information on the required trans gears.
