I was about to dremel my tb but my father doubted it would affect it at all.. and i had a comment from my fathers friend tell me that it'll just screw up my engine. I was thinking and thought back, it shouldn't affect it that much, i'm throwing 350 injectors on and with the cfm being a bit higher would be much better considering the fuel:air ratio, being stock cfm before from tb and the fuel so i thought it might choke it that way, and for it to open a bit up just grinding the sides it seems legit that there would be a tad bit more cfm sucking in, rather than having like a quarter inch opening it'll be about like 3/8th of an inch now. I looked at the 670 cfm tb and other higher tb and they have basically what the "ultimate tb mod" has done, just bigger diameter hole and surface area, i have 2 tb now so im thinking of doing it anyways i just rather have other peoples opinions on the subject to know if this even helps at all. Also to follow up everything else is being done to the vehicle, just curious on how to tune whatever i could myself to get every bit out of my vehicle for free basically. Don't mind spending a couple dollars but nothing to serious like buying another intake manifold or something.. If anyone would help on this, that'll be great!

My steps to be taken (please inquire more if possible):
Ultimate TBI [deciding]
Open Air Cleaner 14x3 [done]
350 Injector x2 (110 lb/hr) [have, but not installed]
a/c delete pulley [pending]
non-smog pump (shorter serpentine belt) [pending]

Re: Next Step
I would not bother with putting on the 350 injecors unless you can program your ecm for the added fuel!!! I would do the fuel pressure regulator mod or buy and adjustable one and keep your 305 injectors on there until you do alot more mods to the engine!! You will cause it to run rich with the 350inj even with the ultimate tbi mods!! As for the Ultimate TBI mods- just do it!! You may not notice much of a difference with a stock engine but it does help slightly with a modded one. I noticed slightly better throttle response and a little bit of MPG improvement. As for your father and his freinds do any of them know how to tune EFI??? LOL. Also ask them if they have ever seen a carb with the choke horn machined off?? Same idea! just my 2c's

To get the most out of your engine you need to get into chip tuning. Im quite sure that you can update your ecm to flash chips, just need the ecm number. If you check out moates.net the chip adapter a few chips the datalog cable should only be abou $160. And if you have access to a laptop your on your way. If you go with a mail order chip you will be disapointed and be constantly returning it to get it reprogramed to get it to run right etc. If you dont plan on a new cam or heads or any major mods then you will be fine with the stock ecm. But anything other than that and you will need to tune to get the most out of you combo. Just my 2'c
