Weiand X-celerator intake manifold issues
Everything looks good on it, except the coolant hose next to the distributer on the stock intake manifold. I assume that hose is for the heater. Does the 7547 X-celerator have one in a different location that im missing? Or is there anyway around this?
Thanks.
Thanks.
Re: Weiand X-celerator intake manifold issues
Yes, that hose is for your heater core.
Lots of intakes don't have provisions for a rear-mounted heater hose. It goes up front on the coolant crossover next to the thermostat housing. A longer hose to the heater core is required as well, obviously.

hmm i just had a look at these, it says rpm range is 2k-6500. looks like your gonna lose some more power down low. do you already have one or were you just looking at it as an option?
btw i think with the performers you'd also have to use the coolant crossover up front.

Alright, so it just goes up front then? Well then I guess ill be ordering one
I dont have the intake yet, its a single plane so it doesent have as much low end power as a dual plane, but with the cam/head combo I have almost all my power is above 4,000rpm so a single plane would fit good.
