Let's start a list of the fastest to slowest tbi cars? We could state the mods and times/ dyno / or g-tech. This will give everyone info on what to do to get to their goals and we could set up a list for the members to see where we're at.

 

ok i was running 16.0 -16.3 on the strip in AZ at the SIR heres my list

it was not tuned either

I might run a 18 LOL

No soon im doing suspension then I am going full length headers, no cat and ebl. But I may just swap the entire engine for a 350 with some goodies or save for a 383 from yearone.

i think its come a long a way from when i first had it. still trying to break into the 14's and 90+ in the 1/4 but hopefully i'll get there soon. tax returns can't get here fast enough

 

fastest my car ever did was 14.7 with a sloppy tranny that i had to let go of the gas and get back on it going into third gear. i will have new tim eon wednesday and post up what i have done then.

id expact myself to run a 15.7 just based on my friends cars ive ran.

im hoping with headers, xpipe,bullets and posi track i can break into 14s.

 

I run consistent 13.6's with my 350 TBI setup. GMPP vortec intake/heads, edelbrock shorty's, super 40 muffler, no cats, no a/c, no smog pump, comp cam, custom tune, etc...

 

I'm going to get at least 10 more responses and the i'll get a list going. Hopefully will be able to set it up like ls1tech or peformancetrucks.net Keep the post coming.

i have true dual 40s no cats
no smog
shorty headers
3.73 posi
cfdf clutch
accel cap rotor plugs
all plugs have indexing washers so they all fire down into the cylinder
msd blaster coil and super conductor wires
custom cold air intake with single 4' spectra elbow and k&n filter
180 degree thermostat bumped up timing 4 degrees
and a decent tune
if i put about 2 gallons of cam 2 in a full tank he dont even stand a chance
