alright well i got a 90 Camaro RS with a TBI 305. while in park or neutral the idle jumps all over the place up and down the entire time. I have put in a new IAC sensor and MAP sensor even bought new plugs wires ect.. The car has always some had smoke come out of the tail pipes when i get on it, I just assumed its because the smog pump has been removed. Another issue i have is in drive typically when you let off the gas in any vehicle the RPMs will drop a good bit to slow the vehicle, well in mine it does not "drop" its slowly comes down as i coast or apply brakes. if anyone has any ideas please let me know getting tired of all the gas use =/ thanks

 

black smoke means its running rich, our cars tend to run rich from the factory it seems, but not that bad, bad o2 could cause it to run rich, we got plenty of guys in your area, im over there alot maybe we can meet up and take a look at it

 

that sounds good man iv had the car a year and thats pretty much the only problem i have not been able to figure out how to fix.. if you want to meet up sometime just send me a PM with some more info
