i recently found out that my 91 rs 5.0L needs new injectors. i just want to buy the whole little assembly with out the throttle body, cause my TB is new. i hooked my car up onto an emmisions machine with the 5 gas. it was realy bad, so i looked the fuel coming out of injectors and they were spitting. no cone shape at all. i realy dont just want to stick fuel injector cleaner through my gas tank. i want a new assembly and regulator. my question is where can i buy one, cause i dont think mine was ever changed.


or if anyone has aspare one that they never used. or and if ya know how much they will cost me.

If there is a Pull A Part or Pick A Part around,thats the best shot,too expensive at auto parts.Rebuild kit is 24.96 at O'Reillys.Thats for regulator,filters,gaskets and all.Made mine work great,it was doing same thing.I bought 1 for spare at Pull A Part and put it on and it works great.Lots of cheap choices.Especially when injectors are 110.00 a piece.Good Luck whichever way you go

 

ok. cool, my tech teacher sai di can try the one that is laying in the parts pile at our shop. so i cleaned them up and might be trying them sunday. it was out of an s10. but he sai di can just try them, then if they work id have to get one myself.

Just make sure you get the ones rated for your motor. (Probably 55lb/hr in your case)

 

check with dctrumpet, I think he has some flow matched sets, and he is or was coming up with his own rebuild kit.
