First, I want to say that I don't have the first idea about how to tune a ecm or anything like that, I just had an idea, and thought I'd ask if it would work.

I saw this on one of the tbi stickies (https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/tbi/...-tbi-what.html)

this was my idea to solve the prob of having to clean the MAF every 6 months, use an LS1 TB and remove the TBI's throttle blades, I've attached a couple of diagrams I made(ya, I did it on paint) to illustrate the idea, having the tb after the MAF and before the injectors would solve the prob of the MAF getting varnish on it correct? of course you would have to seal the electrical connections to the tb , but I bet it would work if it can be tuned in an ECM.
