Cannot decide...should i swap the engine ??

My LO3-engine runs very very great. I use the LT1-cam, 46mm bored edelbrock 3704 intake manifold, acd fuelpump @18PSI, ported throttlebody, ported 081´heads, headers, WBO2, the great EBL-system, edelbrock valvesprings, flowmaster exhaust, cat delete and and and....

Now, i´ve got the chance to buy an engine from a 91´Chevy G20 Van. 350 TBI. I think, it must be the LO5-engine. The engine is in a nice condition and runs very nice. It´s completely stock ! 115000 miles. I think, it´s not too much for it. In germany it´s not easy to find an used 350 TBI engine in this condition.

I´ve got some questions. Has this engine got a flat tappet cam or a roller lifter cam ? I think, it has a flat tappet cam but I´m not sure.

What´s the disadvantage from the flat tappets ?

Can I use my 081´heads on this engine or are the valves too small ?

What´s a good cam for it ? Edelbrock 3702 ? Or is this a peanut cam ? Which cam is good for this engine ??

If I buy this engine, i´ll make a master rebuild. I´ll bore the cylinders 0,03" over and use other pistons for a higher compression. Which pistons are good for me ?
Or do you think, i should use a 383 stroker kit with crankshaft, pistons and all the other material ???

Do you generally think, i should swap the engine ?? Is this a good performance step ? Or do you think "never change a running system" ???

Thanks a lot !!!!
