I Just purchased a 91 camaro rs 305 and when I start the car it runs for a good 3 seconds and then throttle body starts spitting fuel and the car shuts off , it also makes a funney noise if you could help thankyou i need to get back on the road.

 

check your fuel line pressure and possibly change the fuel pump

 

Try changing the coil. And making sure its timed. Do everything you can before you change the pump.. its a pain in the butt

 

yea i changed the injectors, and a control valve that craked open and was leaking antifreeze everywhere, and u said to try changing a coil where is that ? is their anything else?

 

ok ive changed the injectors, fuel filter ,I also tested the fuel pressure an got 8pci's.....? and discovered some vacum leaks but the car is still doing the same thing it will run for about an hour an start to shut off while driving or stopped
