really ? , nothing ? , im starting to think i have an intake manifold leak "where the manifold meets the heads" would this upset the air/fuel ratio? , when installing the intake manifold , the guy who put it on ,he applied a bit of RVT sealant to hold the gaskets in place . think the RVT could cause an uneven surface thus the leak ?

I think if the manifold had a leak, you would get lean conditions. Have you checked your timing, any trouble codes?

yeah , i didnt get any codes ,but here my guess @ the manifold leak . if there was a leak , wouldn't it introduce more oxygen into the engine thus throwing off the air fuel ratio. it would probably cause a lean condition , then the computer would add more fuel to try to correct the air fuel ratio?
