Stupid question......TPS adjustment

Ok guys, I need to know how to adjust my TPS on my 89 LO3....Are some just not adjustable??? Can't see any way to do it... If not, what do I need to buy...Mine is off a bit on the meter, and my off idle is not what I think it should be.My friend claims the one on his truck is adjustable..(also TBI)..Please help me on this question...Thanks, Tom

Not adjustable. If it's not working right replacement is only option. IDK how much variation is acceptable though. No idea whether or not that's your problem

Re: Stupid question......TPS adjustment

Some are some not adjustable. ECU sets to zero% throttle in calc with engine off ign on. I presume that is to account for wear and/or if someone moved the throttle stop screw which I have done periodically to set idle with IAC control of idle disallowed.

Re: Stupid question......TPS adjustment

Sorry, didn't mean to add incomplete or misleading info. I meant that the one on your car which is the same as mine, unless someone has swapped throttle bodies, is the non adjustable type.
