Dual Snorkel and TPI ram air box

OK, I'm running a stock 305 right now, just for reference.

I was thinking about doing a complete open element, but now I'm split between that and a ram air/cai (not sure which to call it, because apparently ram air is disproven?) I found a Dual Snorkel for $60, and from what I've heard, they are extremely rare, so this seems like a good price to me. At the same time, I found a TPI ram air airbox, which seems to have the ducts already in place, as well as K&N filters on it. (For $180) Do you think combining these two would be a better upgrade than an open element?

edit: or would I be better off without the snorkel, and just running directly to the ram air boxes?

Re: Dual Snorkel and TPI ram air box

There is no point in having the dual snorkle air cleaner + the camaro TPI aircleaner at the same time. One air cleaner alone will clean the air anough.

The dual snorkle is not a easy fit on a 87 up thirdgen.

The camaro TPI air cleaner needs to be combined with a carb hat or similar.
