not getting fuel to engine?

Mods please move this is this is in the wrong form, i have an 86 camaro with a 2.8 v6, last friday when i left for my dads my car ran great besides when ever i touched the gas it would try to die on me but i always had the bellows and everything gone so i think it was to much air, well sunday i came back and went to start the car and it wouldnt start, it was like this when i first bought the car, i had to replace the FPR vacum hose and it started, but whenever i add starting fluid and hit the key she starts right up, so far iv changed the MAF, dizzy cap, button, ignition module. i have checked the injectors and they have power, i chaged the grounds and they are blinking when i crank the engine so they are getting signal, the fuel filter is good, i have fuel and fuel pressure to the fuel rail, i replaced the fuel pump and thats priming and i have gas in the tank, the only thing i can think of is that the fuel pressure regulator has gone bad, im not getting vacum from it, hooked my vacum gauge up to it and im not getting anything when i crank the engine. can anyone give me some info or am i right on the FPR or do i have clogged injectors?

Re: not getting fuel to engine?

Well you can't get too much air. The engine will only pull what it needs.

I would say you are right on with the FPR

Re: not getting fuel to engine?

Just wondering if you ever figured out what was going on? I have a similar prob with a 2.8 mpfi camaro. Fuel to the rail, spark, will start with ether, wont run.

Re: not getting fuel to engine?

shorted injectors.......leave the pressure regulator alone.(if the rail has pressure.)
