Carbon smell after exiting vehicle.
I seafoamed my engine a few weeks ago, and now when I get out of the car it smells of carbon pretty bad. Is this normal or is something wrong? Also when I drive the car for about an hour, then park it, it runs like it wants to die then revs up, then tries to die again. Almost as if the engine is flooded. I can give it gas and it continues to do this. After about five minutes or so, the engine acts normal again. Any ideas?? I'm stumped.

Smells like burning exhaust vapors almost. Like if you scrape carbon build up off your valves, and snort it. Not that I have but that's what it reminds me of.
