1984 corvette 350 cross fire
i just got a 1984 corvette with the cross fire tbi motor, and had a couple questions for you guy. I come to you looking for help because the info i get here is right on the money.
car has 150000 miles, and i dont want a hot rod. im not going to beat on the car alot just want somthing to hang with the tune port 350, and maybe lt1 if im lucky.
i have heard the heads and intake are just on these cars very restrictive, so i want to put my camel backs i have on the motor. the heads are 2.02 intake and 63cc chambers, would they work?
also a rpm performer or torker two intake ( i have both intakes) and a new edelbrock 600 carb.
i also have a cam will get specs on it asap.
would these mods work for the motor? i have never messed with a crossfire, so dont know what will work.
let me know any info you all have on the 84 crossfire motor and mods that i can do.

What casting camel humps many dont have any accessory bolt holes
Unless they are ported they dont move much air but probably a little better than what you have.
What budget, what expectations before going any further?

Re: 1984 corvette 350 cross fire
I have had an '84 vette engine in my z28 since 1994
-it has proven to be one tough and reliable engine
Rework and porting of the intake manifold and a mild
port job on the heads resulted in a big increase in power
even with everything else stock-very satisfied with the
power after the mods.
Also there is the "renegade"C/F manifold avalible...

im going to use a performer rpm or a torquer two intake, with a edelbrock 600 or holley 650 double pumper, with crane cam 1.6 full roller rockers
still have not found my spec sheet for the cam, will let you know as soon as i find it.

Just another regular 350 SBC so anything that works for a SBC applies to your engine
Run your proposed parts combo over on Tech/ general Engine dept
https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/tech-general-engine/
and see what guys there say
