Start then stall

My 91 TBI Firebird starts then stalls sometimes but after I try it a few times it works fine. Anyone have any idea?

It stalls almost like I was just turning the key off. Some times after I start it I give it more gas and it will bog then stall.

Re: Start then stall

possible fuel pump problem. fuel leaking back into tank or something of that nature. check the cold psi of fuel pressure if its within specs 9-13 psi then using the gauge see if it bleeds off quickly. also try "priming" the fuel system. by this I mean turning the key on but not cranking over the car. then turn the key off. then back on again letting it sit for a few seconds, then off letting it sit for a few seconds. try this 3-4 times and see if it starts better.
