Code 43, Tcc issue?

Long story short, I have A 67 Buick 340 in my scout II. I did some machining and grafted a GM TBI distributor to a stock Buick one. The entire EFI is out of my old 1992 Caprice Wagon with a 350. Stock tune. Ive been getting code 32, EGR, of course, cause no EGR valve or solenoid. And also Code 42. Im not sure If the buick motor is more knock resistant than the 350, or more likely, I think I had to mount the knock sensor in a 90 degree fitting to fit the buick motor. Either way, Im not so worried about the diag. But I noticed when it throws the code, it pulls a ton of timing, normal, but also it seems like the converter wont unlock until i come to a complete stop. Even on the brakes, it feels like the converter is still locked till I stop. Shut it down and restart, everything is normal until The code sets again. Anyone experience this? Hopefully soon I'll go EBL anyways.

Is the TCC wired up properly? its going thru the computer? I know sometime the switch on the valve body is pressure on and sometimes it is pressure off.

It is wired through the computer. It works perfect until the CEL comes on. Then it wont unlock, like when i gas it up a hill, but not enough to downshift, it bogs down, never unlocks, just eventually downshifts. I am having tranny issues as well, so im trying to separate whats tranny from whats computer problems so I can address them all.

hmmm that's weird. I really dont have an answer for you. Try putting this question in the Transmission section here and see if someone with tranny experience can help.
