Where should this tube be?

Hey Guys,

I noticed a hose was laying in my engine bay. I assume it should be attached to my Charcoal Canister. This would be great cause I haven't been able to get my car to pass Ohio echeck. I noticed the one part of the canister looks like a hose could slip into it but it has this plastic clip on it that forces the hose to a 90 degree. Any help?

Re: Where should this tube be?

IIRC it goes to the large port on the bottom of the TBI unit, not the PCV port but the other one ..... id look but all my emissions are gone

Re: Where should this tube be?

I see that port with no line on it says AIR on the canister. Should this loose vacuum line I found hookup to it?

Re: Where should this tube be?

the line from the tank goes to the bottom fitting of the solenoid which is also the line that comes from the valve inline near the canister. the top line from the solenoid goes to the far left vacuum port on a tbi. the one fitting in the pic goes to fresh air or nothing.

Re: Where should this tube be?

that looks like it might be the vacuum tube that goes to the ball underneath where the charcoal canister goes.

Re: Where should this tube be?

Thanks for the hose diagram. I followed the line to under the TBI and the hose that goes to the fuel. I still have this rouge vaccum line that I dont know where it goes. I traces the rouge line back to this sucker by the EGR valve. Still not sure what that is or where it should go.

Just behind the turn signal lamp and under the battery/evap canister tray.
