Ok so I have read befor that it is not safe to bore a 305 more than 30 over because you get to close to the coolant lines in the block I was just wondering if this was true because I have a great deal that I am looking at geting my friend is selling a built 305 bored 40 the motor is a turn kye and he only wants 600 for it so I just want to know if the block is safe beimg 40 over?
