Has anyone tried a intake setup like this with TBI if so how was the low end power. this setup is a weiand sigle plane high rise intake manifold with a holley 670 TBI on top it is going on a 350 with a medium size cam and some head work.

 

your still going to have bottom end but that throttle body is designed for high rpm use for sure and so is the intake.

 

yes i am looking for high rpm power but i do not want to lose all of my bottom end also i just have not seen many Tbi's on intakes like this not sure how it is going to work out

 

I dont know either I know if you dont have it custom tuned no way it is going to run right with that throttle body.

 

Not the best choice. Not a good choice. Will need more pump shot for sure and may run cold blooded. Plan on spending time getting it to run decently.

 

thanks for the responses and i have a custom tune on it now and will be tuned again for this setup, i will be running either this holley tbi or a 454 tbi on it for a while then switching to carb. thanks for your opinions
