New pump, No power. UPDATED

I know there are tons of threads about this but im going to ask anyway.
I have an 88 RS with a 305 TBI. It has sat for 6-7 years unfortunately. We fired it up with starting fluid, it ran untill it ran out of fluid. I dropped the tank, new fuel pump/screen, and new tank. When I jump the pump from the plug under the back seat, it runs, but thats it. I dont have a clue where the relay is and what to do next to figure it out. Thanks in advance for the help.

Re: New pump, No power. UPDATED

k, so I found the problem of no power. Just the fuse by the battery. I didnt know what to look for before. So I now have power to the pump, it primes and run as it should when I crank the motor. But no start. I have spark, as it runs when I put fuel into the TB untill its gone. I removed the lines at the TB and it is getting fuel. What I now need help with is.. Where do I look for the injector fuse or relay? please help. Once again I am new to camaro's and not a pro at wiring. thanks in advance. If someone has a diagram of the fuse panel that would be a great start!

almost wanna say your injectors are gummed up with gunk from sitting for so long. gas turns to varnish over time. I dont have any diagrams of fuse panel at this time so i am sure soemone will come along who does.

Strangely enough I think a bad ignition module in the distributor can cause the injectors not to fire properly. You might try that

Re: New pump, No power. UPDATED

If he has spark - that means ignition control module is OK and most likely ECM is receiving DRP pulses from dizzy.

The FP relay should be on the firewall. During POST test - which happens every time you move ignition key from off to run position ECM will power up fuel pump for about 2 to 3 seconds (you should be able to hear it) and the SES light should go from solid - blink off back to solid. Its a simple check.

As Undercover mentioned injectors are probably are clogged. To verify - get a test light and probe injector connectors (while plugged into injectors). One of the two pins should have +12 when ignition is on (both in run and crank position) - red or white wire. The ECM side wire (blue or green wire) will periodically drop from +12V to ground when engine is turning. A test light can be used to see this. If electrical is good the most likely reason for no start is clogged injectors.

You can prime your fuel system by applying fused +12 Volts to PIN G of ALDL connector. In most F-bodies this pin is connected to NC set of contacts of FP relay and will power up fuel pump while ignition is off. Naturally, safety precautions must be in place.
