Got l05 swap in. 89 rs looking to be in 350- 400hp range what are recommended can heads intake etc to use on my setup thanks

 

For 350fwhp, http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SUM-162108/ or similar, edelbrock TBI performer intake or similar and comp cam 8-500-8 or similar, should be decent.

With Trick flow 195 heads, roller cam around 220-230 duration with around .520 lift and single plane intake, should get around 400-450fwhp.

To get a better idea, could download camquest6 and get a dyno symulator, wery helpful.

 

what about these heads casting 14096217 tpi 5.7 around 1988 centerbolt with 1.94 intake would these work

The L98 heads (TPI) end with 083, according to the post on TGO the 217 heads you have should be better, thogh will probably require some serious work to make 350-400 hp

 

yea i did search didnt find any good stuff i know they will fit my block im just going to port and polish intake and exhuast and gasket match and throw in a cam and intake and put rollers in in future... im looking to be around 260 with the rebuild im doing now with out cam.. hopefully only the dyno can tell the truth
