Re: 93 Classic

pretty much. I dont know if the tbi caprice's use a different air cleaner than the l03 in our cars. I think so. but as with almost any engine, exhaust upgrades headers back, do the ultimate tbi mods, learn how to custom tune your chip or invest in the EBL tuning. changing out the camshaft, heads, will be the biggest gainers. and your car is pretty heavy, a rear end swap will help it move faster. well I mean a gear swap.

Re: 93 Classic

True dual is overkill on that tbi350.I had a tbi 350 and did alot of mods to but the biggest gain def came from the headers and ypipe combo.by far.

Re: 93 Classic

Well those cop cars that I worked on had maybe 2 1/4 pipes, full size mufflers, & resonators. He might find a complete take off system for cheap.
True duals sound & look good, it still a 350.

Re: 93 Classic

yea its a 350 thats putting down 170hp to the wheels if its still fresh.
If he wants sound with out doubt get true duals but if you want a hp gain and still want some low end power get long tube headers and a flowmaster yconnector i did this xstream k&n assmebly, tbi chip, high flow cat,mtc-1,port 193 heads, port matched intake and made 255hp to the wheels with 343tq.All that bs and time and still wasnt making enough for me to keep it around.
