No Check Engine Light???
Alright then, so my check engine light hasn't come on, Ive checked the bulb and it was fine so could it be a wire in the dash or something

So it doesn't come on when you first cycle the key?
How did you check the bulb?
You need a wiring diagram, use an ohm meter to test between the bulb socket & ecm(?) terminal, & the other is probably a ground.
