New or Remanufactured Flow Matched

I'm in the market for a replacement set of TBI injectors but can't decide which is better for me. I'm looking at a brand new set or a set of reman flow matched. Both cost the same amount. I just don't know how important a flow matched set is on a stock L03. I can see if you're using tpi or a high hp tbi build that a matched set is necessary. But I have the mindset that new is better than remanufactured. So what is better in my application?

i have used this place many a times. only had a problem once. the air freighted me a new injector with a return slip for the bad one.

Re: New or Remanufactured Flow Matched

Every time I have had injectors serviced they ended up being flow matched. Not so at first test. If you don't have someone in town and can ship yours Mr Injector does great work!

While flow-matched isn't as important in this application, I'd trust a set of rebuilt, flow-matched units, since they've been gone over by "experts" (choose your experts carefully), versus factory units that can have unknown error. If you're doing custom tuning, it's nice to know what you've got.

Flow-matched is important.
Lets not forget the dual-plane intake, each injector fuels 4 cylinders.

This is a solid reason why single plane intakes work well with TBI's. The other reason would be that intake velocity doesn't matter as much when using fuel injectors

Re: New or Remanufactured Flow Matched

Yes I am aware of that.

But how do we know when one of two injector fires it is positioned over the correct bank?

Maybe it does not make a difference being a wet system?

360d of crank rotation each injector fires once during cycle

Re: New or Remanufactured Flow Matched

I look at it the easy way.
Flow matched injectors is the only way to have the most equal amount of fuel available for each cylinder.
