Hydrocarbons Be Gone(Or Just Lessen)
Hydrocarbons Be Gone(Or Just Lessen)
Okay I changed everything that air, fuel, emissions.Except the 02 sensor. The guy that does an inspection on the car when failed said that at idle the car releases more of the hydrocarbons so i replaced the EGR and it went done some but not enough. So now i have this fuel cleaner/adder called SNAP, got it from a frequent guest at the body shop.So im wondering is this stuff called SNAP good or should i try drygas or something else. Also put the timing down stock is 6 degree put it at 3 degree so im putting it at 0 degrees. Any helpful tips please type in.

Don't know anything about SNAP, but I have used iso-heet to help lower HC in order to pass sniffer test. Couple of bottles in 3/4 tank of fuel, Worked good.

well timing is supposed to be at 0* anyway.
Hydro carbons are unburnt fuel. Does the motor run smoothe? how is the tune up? and are the plugs really good or you just think they are good?

Tune UP Items Changed:
EGR,Oil, oil filter, fuel pump, fuel filter, ecm(needed),spark plugs, spark plug wires, module,IAC, map ,tps, cap and rotor, coil, smog pump and some vaccum hoses. Now im just going to buy a 02 sensor( only 19 bucks). The plugs are Bosch do you prefer a brand I've heard rapid-fire spark plugs by AC/Delco camaro guys prefer?I'll take almost the oddest advice right now.
