(I have no one to hold the brake in drive), I believe the fuel PSI should be 13psi but I fogot what line it goes to on the TB. Any help on this will be appreciated thnx.

Re: Fuel pressure check

Service fuel pressure is 9 - 13 psi for 3rd gen TBI setups. A quick test is to do this:

Connect the fuel pressure gauge to the larger of the lines going to the TBI unit. On a warmed up engine, in park or neutral, first check that the fuel pressure is within spec (9-13 psi).

Then glue an eye-ball to the gauge needle. Whack the throttle wide open and hold for a moment (don't over rev the engine).

If during this WOT moment, if the gauge drops even a single psi, the pump isn't keeping up.

RBob.

Re: Fuel pressure check

Im trying to get the TB adaptor on but it seems I cannot screw it in due to the Intake Manifold being in way, and the fuel line seems like it is too short to fit inside the adaptor? any advice? do I have the wrong adaptor?...it is T shape.
