hey guys im getting down to the end of my 5 speed swap that i have done in my dt500 83 crossfire trans am.while i was doing everything i also decided to put in shorty headers, and of course a new exhaust is goin in with all that. now i am going to send out my tbs to be rebuilt cause there is a little play in them. im curious if it is worth it to have them bored out to 51 mm while they have it. now im not racing this car or anything like that i am just trying to wake it up a little. only mods that i have is the 5 speed swap, headers, exhaust, im going to be using a vette ecu and prom and i may take the intake off and do a small polish job on it. also all smog is off i live in fl and there are no emission testing
i want a reliable smooth running daily driver more then anything. so do you think it is worth to have them bored out a little?

i don't think it would make any difference with mild 305s or 350s-stock
TBIs flow 275CFM each;plenty for mild street engines up to around 325HP
or more
DO port/modify the manifold though.Crossfire f-bods use the
same ECMs as vettes:'82 same as '82 vette,83 same as '84 vette.
